Birth Stories: Alicea. Induction & assisted delivery.

For week one of the birth stories series my friend Alicea joins me to talk about her two very different births. Both babies were over 9lbs but her first birth was a lot harder than her 2nd birth experience. Induction took a long time ending in an assisted forceps delivery. This birth stories series is intended to highlight that birth is a very individual and unique experience. Women are often fed lines such as 'as long as the baby is ok that's all that matters.' but it's not all that matters. Mum's health matters too. I hope listening to these birth stories empowers you to take rightful control over your birth choices and to have a positive birth experience.
