When heaven connects to earth that causes all of heaven, everything in heaven to touch earth! God's power, His miracles, His love, His Glory, His anointing, His authority! All connects back to earth through us this year! The Glory of the Kingdom was the program last week. The Glory of God is here on this earth. The Glory of God resting upon His people. There is Kingdom growth taking place now. There is a Spiritual awakening right now. Nations are being drawn to God’s Light. There is an End-time manifestation of God’s Kingdom taking place. This is what happens when heaven invade earth! Isaiah 60 is not merely about future prophecy, it is a revelation of what happens when the King manifests His Glory among His people. Authority is the right to represent and enforce the will of the King. Throughout Scripture, whenever God’s Glory is revealed, His authority is established, demonstrated, or recognized. Revelation precedes delegation The greater the revelation of God’s Glory, the greater the understanding of His authority. Jesus operated in the Glory and Authority! The Gentiles shall come to your light, And kings to the brightness of your rising. “Lift up your eyes all around, and see: They all gather together, they come to you; Your sons shall come from afar, And your daughters shall be nursed at your side. Then you shall see and become radiant, And your heart shall swell with joy; Because the abundance of the sea shall be turned to you, The wealth of the Gentiles shall come to you. Isaiah 60 is a prophetic picture of: -The glory of God resting upon His people -Kingdom expansion -Spiritual awakening -Divine restoration -Nations being drawn to God’s light -End-time manifestation of God’s kingdom Isaiah 60 reveals what happens when heaven invades earth through the manifested glory of God. This is the Year That happens! The Glory Produces Divine Illumination Darkness covers the earth, but glory rests on God’s people. It empowers you to do what you ordinarily could not do. In the Old Testament: the oil set someone apart for a specific role (king, priest, prophet). Ex: David was anointed to be King. In the New Testament reality: the Holy Spirit Himself indwells and empowers believers. The anointing is the working of God’s presence + God’s power + God’s purpose operating through a person. We are not nor can we ever be anointed on our own!
