I have been powerfully impacted by global warming and everyone else has been too. For some of us it's just the loss of the natural beauty of forests that are plagued by drought. For some it's wildfires, flooding, increased insurance rates or endangered crops. For many of us it's a health issue. And yet climate change seems to be a very small part of the national conversation as we talk about our biggest challenges. Many people pretend that global warming is not a kitchen table issue or treat it like an elitist conversation. We disagree. Let's talk about it.
