In this episode, we discuss AGS, Lyme disease, anaphylaxis, food restrictions, and the surprising ways mammalian products can trigger reactions in everyday life. Dr Crystal Peairs shares her personal journey, and the challenges of navigating symptoms that affected her health in unexpected ways.  In this week's episode, I'm joined by Dr Crystal Peairs, Doctor of Chiropractic at Lafayette Square Chiropractic Centre in Missouri. Dr Peairs shares her experience with Lyme disease and Alpha Gal Syndrome, including how reactions to mammalian products extended far beyond food and contributed to chronic health challenges. We discuss the four different types of anaphylactic reactions, the importance of recognizing symptoms that often go overlooked, and the treatment approaches that helped her heal. Dr Peairs also shares her experience with SAAT acupuncture treatment, Cistus tea, Dr Rawls Restore 180 program, and other tools that supported her recovery. This conversation provides valuable insight into AGS and offers important information for anyone trying to understand potential triggers, recognize symptoms, and better advocate for their health. Lyme disease can present with symptoms far beyond joint pain and fatigue. In this episode, we discuss how OCD, intrusive thoughts, brain fog, and gastrointestinal issues ultimately led to a Lyme disease diagnosis for one family's daughter, setting her family on a journey to find answers, advocate for their health, and pursue healing. In this week's episode, I'm joined by Liza Blas, Community Manager for Dr Rawls Vital Plan. EP 111: From Hopeless to Healed - Lana's Lyme Disease and SOT Journey

After 13 years of battling Lyme disease, multiple relapses, Bartonella, pancreatitis and overwhelming despair, Lana finally found the missing pieces that helped her regain her health. After being diagnosed with Lyme disease in 2010, Lana experienced years of ongoing symptoms, periods of remission, financial hardship, and moments when she questioned whether she could continue fighting. She openly shares the emotional toll of chronic illness, the isolation, and the despair that so many in the Lyme community know all too well. Throughout her journey, Lana explored numerous therapies including antibiotics, methylene blue, IV glutathione, hyperbaric oxygen therapy, PEMF, infrared sauna therapy, ionic foot baths, red light therapy, and more. While each played a role in her healing journey, she shares how Supportive Oligonucleotide Therapy (SOT) ultimately became the final piece that helped her regain her health. A major turning point came when Lana sought care through New Hope Healing & Resource Center in Minnesota. She shares how Tim Montag and Aimee Goodwin provided not only treatment options and clinical guidance, but also hope, compassion, and unwavering support during some of her most difficult days. Their willingness to continue searching for answers helped uncover important pieces of her case and gave her the courage to keep moving forward. Today, Lana is living proof that healing is possible, even when the road feels impossible. This conversation is a powerful reminder of the importance of finding the right practitioners, never giving up on yourself, and holding onto hope when everything feels lost. EP 110: Lyme Disease, MS or Cancer? One Tick Bite Changed Everything.

After a tick bite in 2020, Dr. Kristi Hellenbrand's life changed dramatically. A Doctor of Chiropractic, author and patient advocate, Kristi went from running a busy chiropractic practice and caring for life on her farm to a rapid decline in her health. Within months, she lost the sensation in her legs, needed a cane and eventually lost the ability to walk. Doctors considered multiple sclerosis (MS) or cancer. When Lyme disease was finally suspected, Kristi began treatment and experienced some improvement. However, her symptoms returned after stopping IV antibiotics, leaving her searching for a more effective path forward. In this episode, Dr. Kristi shares her Lyme disease journey, from the frightening onset of symptoms to receiving confirmation through Vibrant testing and ultimately pursuing the Horowitz Protocol. She explains why she viewed this approach as "the big guns" and how it became a turning point in her recovery. Today, Kristi is back to helping others through her chiropractic practice, patient advocacy work, and educational outreach. She is passionate about helping people find answers, navigate testing options, and understand that they are not alone in their health journey. This conversation is a powerful reminder that early symptoms should never be ignored, answers are worth pursuing, and hope remains possible even when the future feels uncertain. EP 109: Lyme Disease, Breathwork, Somatic Inquiry & Nervous System Healing with Tracey Foster

In this episode, I am joined by Tracey Foster to share her deeply personal healing journey. Tracy is a licensed practical nurse, Integrative Health Practitioner and is trained in breathwork facilitation and somatic inquiry. Based in Vancouver, Canada, she now helps support others navigating stress, trauma, nervous system dysregulation, and chronic illness. Tracey shares how she believed she was healthy and doing everything right, only to later experience major health struggles that completely shifted her life. Just as she felt she was finally beginning to rebuild and move forward, a traumatic car accident sent her spiraling once again. Together, we discuss trauma, anxiety, chronic stress, pain, nervous system dysregulation, and the powerful connection between oral health and overall wellness. Tracey also shares how breathwork and somatic inquiry became some of the most impactful tools in her healing journey and helped her reconnect with her body in a completely different way. We also talk about the Ionic foot bath and why Tracey personally experienced significant benefits from incorporating it into her wellness routine. This conversation is filled with hope, insight, and powerful reminders that healing is often much deeper than simply addressing physical symptoms alone.
