A local reporter comes across some insane information he found in an old family journal in Vermont. Farmers, struggling in the hills beyond town, need a way to survive the winter. And so begins a bizarre family tradition meant to save on food rations. Were they really freezing their elderly and putting them into literal cold storage for the winter?
