Mets Salvage Finale vs Seattle, Need Length from Starting Pitchers

The New York Mets salvaged the series finale vs the Mariners on Wednesday afternoon in a day that saw Bo Bichette go 4 for 4 with 3 RBIs. The Mets won 7-1 and Freddy Peralta went six innings, only the second time a Mets starter or bulk reliever has done that since Clay Holmes went down. That is a key to their season moving forward. Can they get length out of their starters? How confident am I that they're going to be able to do that? Find out on this episode. Also, Jorge Polanco is close to returning. MJ Melendez hit a two-run walk-off home run to give the Mets the 9-7 victory over the Miami Marlins on Friday. The Mets record is now 24-33 after back to back wins. They look to win the series tomorrow with Christian Scott on the mound. Plus, both David Stearns and Carlos Mendoza spoke to the media on Friday afternoon. I give my take on what was said and I go over some of the questions I would have asked the Mets President of Baseball Operations.
