Descripción

In this episode, I share a deeply personal realization about a lifelong pattern I didn't even know I had. Growing up, I learned to pay close attention to everyone else's emotions needs, and expectations.  It was a survival strategy that quietly followed me into adulthood. I explore how childhood adaptations can become invisible patterns, why awareness often arises with shame and how healing begins not by judging ourselves, but by seeing ourselves with compassion.

S2E1. Beyond the Ceiling: My Path to Embodied Authority

I continue my exploration of the glass ceiling pattern. In part one, I named this pattern and recognized it as a protective strategy I developed to ensure I belonged. Today, I am moving. beyond intellectual understanding into the work of integration. I share my journey of identifying the "approval reflex" - that automatic physical urge to soften my voice and shrink my presence to avoid the risk of rejection. I discuss the contrast between this protective contraction and the expansive, alive feeling that arises when I choose to take up space and speak with clarity. This episode is an invitation to look in the mirror and build the nervous system;s capacity to tolerate our own expansion. I share what helped me choose alignment over the need to be liked, and I reflect on what it means to finally stand in my own authority without the fear that being fully myself will cost me my sense of belonging.
