Fall 2009 Podcasting Club - Project #1

itunes pic [https://assets.podomatic.net/ts/28/dd/79/mrgallo/1400x1400_2490085.bmp] This is a collection of completed Audio Theater projects (Project #1) from my Fall 2009 Podcasting Club. Students were each required to create brief radio dramas using the same 7 lines of dialogue. They had to come up with the relationship between the characters and had to provide unique narration before and after the dialogue. In addition, they were asked to include appropriate background music and sound effects. Music and sound effects in these examples came from ccmixter.org (music) and freesound.org (effects). The intro and closing music is called "Brass Fanfare 4" by Robinhood76 at freesound.org. All music and sound effects have creative commons licensing. This project is based on the work of Dr. Christopher Shamburg.

Student Produced Audio Theater Projects

itunes pic [https://assets.podomatic.net/ts/28/dd/79/mrgallo/1400x1400_1631998.bmp] This is a collection of completed Audio Theater projects from my podcasting mini-course. Five groups of students were each required to create brief radio dramas using the same 7 lines of dialogue. They had to come up with the relationship between the characters and had to provide unique narration before and after the dialogue. In addition, they were asked to include appropriate background music and sound effects, whose creators they verbally credit at the end of their projects. Music and sound effects in these examples came from ccmixter.org (music) and freesound.org (effects). The intro and closing music is called "Wired But Disconnected" by duckett at ccmixter.org. All music and sound effects have creative commons licensing. This project is based on the work of Dr. Christopher Shamburg.
