She pulled into a parking spot and turned off her lights and engine, happy to be home…when suddenly, somebody opened her driver side door and pressed a knife to her throat. “Move over or I’ll kill you”, the figure said – and so would begin a story of unimaginable horror. You Are What You Eat: The Disappearance of Dylan Redwine

On November 18, 2012, 13 year old Dylan Redwine was picked up from the Durango-La Plata County Airport by his father, whom he was visiting for Thanksgiving. Like most kids, Dylan wanted to spend as much time with his friends as possible. He had planned on spending the night at a friend’s house the day he arrived, but his father said no, wanting to spend quality time with his son. So Dylan texted his friend saying he’d be there bright and early the following morning. The morning of November 19th came and went, but Dylan never made it to his friend’s house. It would be months before any evidence of him turned up and years before anybody knew exactly what happened to him.
