Acerca de Phoenix Rising: The Alec Doomadgee Chronicles

Alec Doomadgee is an Aboriginal activist, radio & TV personality, documentary film maker & actor. He has forged an impressive media career over the past 25 years in Australia and has lead huge protests against Police Brutality after the death in custody of his cousin Cameron (Murinji) Doomadgee on Palm Island. Alec has also been on the frontline fighting big mining companies for years in the Queensland Outback, Alec along with Elders & Lore people lead the 2002 "sit in" protest on the Century Zinc Mine site to fight for the safe return of Sacred artefacts. Alec is a force of nature.
