Reimagining Life Podcast: from Pain to Purpose
Guest: Margot Greenlee In this episode, Margot Greenlee shares her journey in working towards building affordable and inclusive communities where people of all ages and abilities can live, connect, and flourish. As Executive Director at Our Stomping Ground (OSG), Margot works at the intersection of affordable housing, disability advocacy, and community programming. She explains how OSG was created and highlights some of the challenges families with a person with developmental disabilities may face —especially long-term caregiving responsibilities, isolation, financial pressure, and the complexity of accessing services. What began as a grassroots all-volunteer effort has now grown into a nimble team and network of partners working together to create housing opportunities and community programs that supportindependence and belonging. We invite you to listen in and learn how a simple concept, that community itself can be infrastructure, and how that has the power to change lives.
