Descripción

Episode 24 features the rock band Digamy, a power trio based out of Astoria, Queens.  Peppered with elements from your favorite rock bands from the 90’s, their song “Save Yourself” is sure to invoke nostalgia for fans of Rage Against the Machine, Red Hot Chili Peppers, and the entire northwestern Grunge movement of the time. We’ll chat with our longtime buddy, David (guitars, vocals), who besides being his own producer and engineer, is a multi-instrumentalist in his own right. We love multi-instrumentalism around here, and David is a great example of how becoming a musical Swiss-army knife can benefit greatly in your own creative process. Each episode will feature an independent musical artist. Our intention is to uplift the worldwide local music scenes. Gobbin My Nobbin

It’s dawn for Episode 23’s featured local band: Sun Magnetic. Tony is very familiar with this recent solo-act-turned-band, and if you’re a fan of pocket grooves, fuzzy textures, and catchy vocals, their song Dream Lilith is for you. Before hearing from Alex (keys) and Ernesto (guitars, vocals), we’ll dive into some drama, get to know the most consistent drummer of all time, and learn about the music sharks love most.  Each episode will feature an independent musical artist. Our intention is to uplift the worldwide local music scenes. To have your music featured on the podcast, email us at: rhythmbois@gmail.com [rhythmbois@gmail.com]. Try not to cry, because we wouldn’t want you to dissolve into a pool of your own tears. Besides now being legally allowed to drink, Episode 21 features two female legends whose music and impact spans the better part of the past century. We’ll pay homage to one of the greatest bass players, ever, before jumping into our recurring segment highlighting one album that was released in 1976. But first, we’ll start with a notorious musician’s first concert. A concert that will ultimately influence the future of an entire genre of music – Metal.  Today’s featured band is Killing Connor, and we will chat with their guitarist, Matt, before cranking up the volume on their second-of-three singles: Blood Spilt, Blood Spent. It’s what Connor would have wanted.  Each episode will feature an independent musical artist. Our intention is to uplift the worldwide local music scenes.
