Today’s Guests: Co-Host and Attorney, Kevin Flesch and Host Scott Whatley breakdown Colorado Senate Bill 25-003 which goes into law August 1, 2026. This Bill 25-003 restricts the purchase, sale, and manufacture of many specified semiautomatic firearms (including specific rifles, shotguns, and gas-operated handguns with detachable magazines). Prior to purchasing these models, residents must obtain a “firearm safety course eligibility card” and pass a state-approved 12-hour safety course. Kevin also shares some vital information for Conceal Carry Holders. Always a free consult with Kevin Flesch at Flesh Law, call 303-806-8886. Then we visit with Andrew McAllister with Freedom Service Dogs. We talk about their upcoming Clay Shoot Event, Faces of Freedom which is a fantastic fundraiser. Freedom Service Dogs of America (FSD) is a non-profit organization that custom-trains service dogs for veterans, first responders, and children with disabilities like PTSD, autism, and mobility issues, providing them at no cost to the recipient. Based in the Denver area (Englewood), FSD trains dogs for various needs, including mobility assistance, PTSD support, and companionship, relying on donations to fund its programs and offering lifetime support to its clients. We close out with encouraging our listeners to sign Initiative 302, which would amend the Colorado Constitution to guarantee the people’s right to “hunt, fish, and take fish and wildlife” using traditional methods.
