NOTE TO SELF. To learn to shut my mouth... I mean that takes divineintervention. I talk when I am happy. I talk when I am sad. I talk when I amangry. I talk. My incessant talking is annoying, sure. I can see that. That’s a fair statement. When I am angry or sad - it is just not okay to speak.Ever. I know that by now. Yet… talk I do. The only purpose of any communication from me at this pointis just to build others up. If I cannot do that – again… shut my mouth. We have to ask ourselves this question: “Is it helpful, kindand honest?” Helpful based on what? Does it nourish another soul. Kind, meaningwhat? Would Jesus say it, and use that tone? How to possibly be honest… Not allpeople are safe to be honest with. Avoid the pitfall, don’t lie, and justrevert back to kind. One of my grands made the most profound statement a coupleof months ago. He said, “You don’t have to say everything that you think.” Puregenius.

In the Bible, rebuke means to strongly criticizeor correct someone's behavior with the ultimate goal of bringing them torepentance, spiritual growth, and a restored relationship with God. Ratherthan just expressing anger, a biblical rebuke is an act of discipline meant tostop harmful choices and promote righteousness. The goal is to correct and restore, not to shame or teardown. Believers are instructed to ensure their own motives are pure (not rootedin pride or hypocrisy) before correcting others, ideally addressing the issuewith gentleness and respect. Between Believers: The Bible commands followers to hold oneanother accountable. Matthew 18:15 outlines a step-by-step process ofaddressing a brother or sister’s sin privately to win them back. Of Leaders andElders: In 1 Timothy 5:20, the Apostle Paul instructs that church leaders whopersist in sin are to be rebuked publicly so that the congregation respects thegravity of disobedience. Against Satan: Jude 1:9 recounts Michael the archangelsaying to Satan, "The Lord rebuke you!" In the modern church, thisphrase is often used as a prayer of spiritual intercession to appeal to God'sauthority over temptation or spiritual opposition. ...and God corrected me and I realized it eight dayslater... #proverbs #viral #Trending #fyp #ministry

Proverbs 6:16-19 A person who stirs up conflict in the family. I could have just proceeded as normal and let sleeping dogslie. I could have kept my mouth shut. But I didn’t. Demons don’t get tired. That is important to remember. Whyis that? Because the human that we are upset with or the situation that sucks – we do not fight against flesh and blood, but against principalities. The spiritual realm. Demons don’t sleep. That demon can be lying in wait smoldering under the surfacejust smirking and excited for the second that you are tired, give up, worn –and then he pounces. Thrilled with himself because the battle was won. Don’t do it. Take a deep breath, or ten, and talk to God. Turnup that worship music, a bible-based podcast or talk to God directly. Dialogue with the devil ends in defeat. #proverbs #viral #Trending #fyp #ministry

Temptation is not always sexual sin. It can be. Buttemptation is also any other thing that would cause you to want to step outside of the guidelines that God has set for us. What we want to do and know ahead of time we should not. I am tempted to get angry when I am tired, hungry, lonelyand scared. Stupid to type that being angry gives me satisfaction... And the consequences last a minute... What we have to do is decide NOW what we will do when weface it. Prepare for it, because it is coming. How will I act on whatever that temptation is? How will you? Temptation is harmful. Websters: "psychological desireor enticement to engage in short-term urges for immediate gratification, even when it conflicts with your long-term goals, ethical principles, or well-being".
