Descripción

The son of a DeSoto County minister has been indicted on child sex charges, 20-year-old Paxton Bell is accused of enticing a minor and sexually assaulting the victim. His arrest stemmed from a report filed by a student at Lewisburg Middle School back in 2025. While details remain slim in this case, we know that Bell is the son of the pastor at Crosspointe Church in Olive Branch. The Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Office had its first successful search with its new K-9 deputy. K-9 Deputy Mark and his handler Deputy Cole were called out to Newton County on Wednesday evening. The duo was asked to assist in a search for a person who had fled from law enforcement. With the help of the four-legged friend, authorities were able to locate the suspect and make an arrest.
