s4 E5 It's Always something

Okay DJ 4 Party of 1 Family, this is just a mid year check in. It's more of a "I'm still here" check in. I also briefly shed some light on how the "Michael" movie scrambled my TL and my playlists. Now what I listen to resembles an MJ greatest hits playlist for the time being. It wasn't the 1st half return that I was expecting, but we have some new listeners so I must persist. Thanks to everyone that is here, and thanks to those that have just discovered me here mid year.

S4 E4 The Drake Dilemma

Drake has returned with the Iceman album and two surprise albums (more like eps). New Drake music is here just in time for the summer, but will he burn up the charts or get iced out? Did the album live up to what Drake fans expected? Was the time away worth the weight for fans? Did the additional albums add value to the return or did the additional music seem more like throwaway tracks? In this episode I drop my 2 cents on the Drake dilemma, the problem with such a long absence and the challenges of returning with new music after a very public battle with Kendrick Lamar.

Follow up episode on my thoughts about the Michael movie after seeing it on opening day. Update: We actually saw it a 2nd time as well. I am pretty sure it's going to hit the Billion dollar mark.
