In this episode, we explore the landscape of medical technology (Medtech) from a Dutch perspective. We discuss what Medtech encompasses and the scale of the European market, as well as key challenges such as supply chain resilience and the impact of stricter European regulations under MDR and IVDR. We also examine major innovation drivers including digital health and artificial intelligence, from imaging AI and Software as a Medical Device to smarter hospital operations.
