The Kevin Jackson Show
Ladies and gentlemen, welcome back to *The Kevin Jackson Show*. There are politicians who leave fingerprints. Gavin Newsom leaves monograms. If you’re surprised that Gavin Newsom is swimming in corruption, you’re the same folks who still think the tooth fairy and the Easter Bunny file taxes. Nobody should be surprised when Gavin Newsom's name surfaces around another controversy. What surprises me is how Democrats react every single time. Republicans hear the words "federal investigation" and start interviewing attorneys. Democrats hear "federal investigation" and immediately begin interviewing public relations firms. The statement isn't, "Let's find out what happened." It's, "Who's going on CNN?" What I relish most is watching Democrats defend their corruption the way a mama raccoon defends a dumpster full of week-old takeout — claws out, teeth bared, and zero shame. And now we’ve got the rest of the story. **The Wiretap Reveal:** The FBI had Gavin Newsom’s inner circle wearing wires since June of 2024. That’s right — while Newsom was still strutting around pretending to be the future of the Democratic Party, his own longtime Sacramento Democrat, Alexis Podesta — Newsom appointee, power broker, insider for decades — was secretly recording conversations for federal investigators. This isn’t some random fishing trip. The probe targeted Newsom’s former chief of staff, Dana Williamson. She’s already pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit bank and wire fraud, filing a false tax return, and lying to the FBI. We’re talking about siphoning money from a dormant campaign account — the kind of scheme that makes you wonder how many other “dormant” accounts in Sacramento are actually just slush funds with better branding. Phone calls were intercepted. Lobbyists across the capital got letters from the feds telling them their conversations had been recorded. They were stunned. And the wiretap was authorized under the Biden DOJ with a judge’s approval. So Newsom can’t spin this as some Trump-era gotcha. This was their own house, their own rules, their own people flipping like cheap pancakes.
