I am joined today by Jason Boatwright, Air Force veteran and founder of The Boatwright Foundation. He tells us all about the Foundation we hear what inspired him to start the Foundation and their mission to support veterans and their families. He answers some True/False type questions on what you need to know and do to file your claims! I've known Jason for quite a few years now, and he's been on the show two or three times before talking about VA disability claims, the VA system, and helping veterans navigate what can often be a very complicated process. Jason has supported veterans and families across the country by helping them understand VA benefits, gain access to healthcare, and work through complex disability claims with clarity, advocacy, and dignity. Jason is an Air Force veteran, serves as a Public Affairs Officer with the Department of Veterans Affairs, earned his Doctorate in Social Work, and previously worked as a legislative aide for a U.S. Congressman. He's also regularly invited to major veteran events and Medal of Honor celebrations, and we hear more about those experiences today.
