ICE is not a rogue agency. ICE does not require better training and oversight. ICE is operating exactly as it is designed to: As a white nationalist secret police kill squad. The only solution to is to disband ICE permanently, expose every agent’s name to the public, investigate them all, charge them with crimes against humanity, and either send them to prison for life or the gallows for waging a campaign of domestic terrorism against the people of the United States. When they cry, “I was just following orders!”, they should be marched through the streets with a swastika branded on their forehead. We have to send a message that this will never happen again. As excited as I am for her, I am also going to miss the sweet, funny, and silly little girl who has been such an integral part of my life for the last decade. But before she rides off into the sunset, we had to record one final Lila Explains for you, our beloved audience. This episode is about depression and anxiety. I wanted to talk about this with Lila because she has struggled with both for a long time, and now that I’ve had a firsthand peek inside that world, I wanted to compare notes. We think you’ll find it interesting and very sappy because by the end, we get pretty mushy. But hey, she’s my daughter, I love her, and I’m sad to see her go, so you’ll just have to come along for the ride. Just a side note, the phrase I forgot at 18:33 is “abandonment issues” because I am dumb. This is a song from Cowboy Bebop, one of my favorite anime, and it really captures my mood these days.
