Welcome to ORDINARIUS, the official Qui Minimo podcast! The mission of ORDINARIUS is to help you find and love Jesus more deeply in your ordinary, everyday life; to grow in holiness and intimacy with Christ right where He has called you. Ordinarius means “the ordinary” and is inspired by Saint Josemaria Escriva’s quote: “There is something holy, something divine hidden in the most ordinary situations, and it is up to each one of you to discover it. There is no other way, my daughters and sons: either we learn to find our Lord in ordinary, everyday life, or we shall never find Him.” In episode one, Anna shares her own testimony of discerning into the Carmelite cloister, the hidden life of Carmel, and then discerning out. This is part I of the origin story of Qui Minimo and in episode II she will share how she adjusted to life outside of the cloister and discovered God’s call to no less holiness and intimacy with Him in ordinary life “in the world”. Join Anna every first and third Saturday of the month, sometimes with a guest, for full episodes pertaining to this mission (prayer, holiness, Marian spirituality, etc.), and every second and fourth Saturday of the month to pray together. If this episode spoke to you or touched you in some way, we would be so grateful if you would share it with a friend, follow along, and leave an encouraging review. Thank you so much, and until next time know of our prayers for you and yours.

Episode 3. Getting as close as possible to Jesus in the Eucharist, Corpus Christi

In this episode we are talking about Jesus in the Eucharist – His presence and love for us there and how there is literally nothing better we can do with our time than to be near to Him there. My hope is you will be inspired and encouraged to draw nearer to Jesus in the Eucharist in your week, even if it is one more simple way than you are already doing now. Saint quotes quoted in the episode: “One of the most admirable effects of Holy Communion is to preserve the soul from sin, and to help those who fall through weakness to rise again. It is much more profitable, then, to approach this divine Sacrament with love, respect, and confidence, than to remain away through an excess of fear and scrupulosity.” St. Ignatius of Loyola “With all the strength of my soul I urge you young people to approach the Communion table as often as you can. Feed on this bread of angels whence you will draw all the energy you need to fight inner battles. Because true happiness, dear friends, does not consist in the pleasures of the world or in earthly things, but in peace of conscience, which we have only if we are pure in heart and mind.” St. Pier Giorgio Frassati “Always remain close to the Catholic Church, because it alone can give you true peace, since it alone possesses Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament, the true Prince of Peace.” Padre Pio “Of all devotions, that of adoring Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament is the greatest of the sacraments, the one dearest to God and the one most helpful to us.” St. Alphonsus Ligouri You come to me and unite Yourself intimately to me under the form of nourishment. Your Blood now runs in mine, Your Soul, Incarnate God, compenetrates mine, giving courage and support. What miracles! Who would have ever imagined such!” St. Maximilian Kolbe “Jesus has made Himself the Bread of Life to give us life. Night and day, He is there. If you really want to grow in love, come back to the Eucharist, come back to that Adoration.” Mother Teresa “How many of you say: I should like to see His face, His garments, His shoes. You do see Him, you touch Him, you eat Him. He gives Himself to you, not only that you may see Him, but also to be your food and nourishment.” St. John Chrysostom “Receive Communion often, very often. There you have the sole remedy, if you want to be cured. Jesus has not put this attraction in your heart for nothing.” St Therese of Lisieux Read more on the Qui Minimo journal here: www.quiminimo.com/journal [In this episode we are talking about Jesus in the Eucharist – His presence and love for us there and how there is literally nothing better we can do with our time than to be near to Him there.
