Descripción

We have some new content for you! In this episode of the Providence Podcast, Sister Leslie is joined by two younger Providence Associates to reflect on a challenging Gospel passage from Matthew. Jesus' words about being "worthy" can stir up questions about whether we're enough, whether we're doing enough, or whether we measure up. But what if this Gospel isn't really about proving our worthiness? Together, we explore how God's call is less about earning love and more about accepting an invitation. An invitation to trust more deeply, love more fully, and follow Christ beyond our comfort zones. Through the lens of Providence spirituality, we share how God continues to call each of us into a deeper relationship, not because we've earned it, but because we are loved. If you've ever struggled with feelings of inadequacy, questioned your calling, or sensed God inviting you into something more, this conversation is for you. Come as you are. It Is Too Little: When God Invites Us Into More -- Summer Sabbath Series

Summer gives us a chance to slow down and listen again. In this Summer Sabbath Series episode, we revisit a reflection on Isaiah's surprising claim that being God's servant is "too little." Together, we'll explore what it means to move beyond simply doing God's work and into a deeper relationship with God. As you listen, consider where God might be inviting you into more—not more activity, but more connection, more trust, and more light. by Sister Leslie Keener, CDP You can find all of the Scripture readings from the lectionary here: https://bible.usccb.org/readings/calendar You can read the reflection and sign up to receive our weekly newsletter at GodSpaceCommunity.com. What Are You Truly Hungry For? -- Summer Sabbath Series

As part of our Summer Sabbath Series, we're revisiting a conversation that asks a timeless question: What are you truly hungry for? Originally recorded during Lent, this reflection explores spiritual hunger, simplicity, trust, and the ways God meets us in every season of life. Join Sister Leslie, Sister Judy, and Sister Alice as they explore the Gospel account of Jesus in the desert and the temptations he faced. Through faith sharing and personal reflection, they consider questions that remain relevant long after Lent has passed: What are you truly hungry for? What distractions pull you away from what matters most? How might God be inviting you into greater simplicity, trust, and tenderness? This conversation explores spiritual hunger, fasting, power, prayer, and the ways God meets us in both the deserts and the ordinary moments of life. Whether you're discovering this episode for the first time or revisiting it as part of your own Summer Sabbath, we invite you to slow down, listen deeply, and make space for God's presence. 💬 As you listen, we'd love to hear from you: What word, phrase, or invitation stands out to you today?💛 by Sister Leslie Keener, CDP You can find all of the Scripture readings from the lectionary here: https://bible.usccb.org/readings/calendar You can read the reflection and sign up to receive our weekly newsletter at GodSpaceCommunity.com. Not to Condemn the World: A God Who Accompanies

What does it mean to follow a God who accompanies rather than condemns? In this Trinity Sunday reflection, we explore one of the Gospel’s most familiar passages — “For God so loved the world…” — and wrestle with the tension between God’s love and the ways Christians sometimes respond to the world with judgment, fear, and exclusion instead of compassion. Together, we reflect on accompaniment, community, grace, and the call to mirror the love of a God who came not to condemn the world, but to save it. by Sister Leslie Keener, CDP You can find all of the Scripture readings from the lectionary here: https://bible.usccb.org/readings/calendar You can read the reflection and sign up to receive our weekly newsletter at GodSpaceCommunity.com.
