Nolan Wells — the family's independent autopsy results came back undetermined. They were announced at the NAACP National Convention in Chicago by attorney Ben Crump, with Nolan's parents present. The investigation is in Jackson County, Mississippi, where the DA has already met with the family and agreed to present the completed investigation to a grand jury. The FBI is involved. Sixty witnesses have been interviewed. But the announcement wasn't made in consultation with investigators. It was made at a civil rights convention with national press. The NAACP president called Mississippi officials "derelict" — while those same officials are actively cooperating with a grand jury referral. Al Sharpton, Tyler Perry, and Terrell Owens have combined for $125,000 in reward money offered for an arrest and conviction before any evidence of a crime was established. The friends who were with Nolan — who cooperated, gave statements, and whose account matches dispatch audio — are receiving threats. A chancery judge connected to one of the friends posted publicly about threats to her own family. AI-generated images are being treated as evidence online.Eric Faddis breaks down who this machinery serves, whether the family has a legal case or a media campaign, and who is accountable for the threats and misinformation if no crime is found. d4vd's Location Data Put Him WHERE After Celeste Died?!

The prosecution's case against d4vd shifted from evidence to motive on Day 2 of his preliminary hearing — and then digital records allegedly put Burke on a remote highway ninety-five miles from his home. An Interscope executive and a money manager testified that Burke earned more than $10 million between 2022 and 2025, establishing the financial stakes prosecutors say drove the alleged killing of Celeste Rivas Hernandez. The money manager admitted knowing Celeste's first name before the body was found. He also testified that after the remains were discovered, Burke's team switched to encrypted messaging and Burke discussed transferring properties to protect them from civil lawsuits. A CHP officer described a Caltrans worker's discovery of Celeste's passport card in brush along State Route 154 in Santa Barbara County. Prosecutors say Burke's location data places him at that exact spot twice following the alleged murder. The defense challenged the passport's chain of custody. More witnesses are expected as the hearing continues. What Nolan Wells' Autopsy Could Never Check

Nolan Wells — two separate autopsies have been performed on this eighteen-year-old's body and neither can provide a cause of death. The independent examination came back undetermined. The state examination has not been released. And one critical part of the body — the neck structures — was retained by Mississippi's medical examiner, so the family's pathologist could never examine it for evidence of strangulation.Three hundred people were on Horn Island. Not one has described seeing a crime. Sixty witnesses have spoken to law enforcement. The three friends present cooperated and gave statements matching dispatch audio from the Coast Guard. A forensic examination found discoloration on the back of Nolan's head but no fractures or lacerations underneath. State toxicology is still pending.Eric Faddis, a defense attorney and former prosecutor, breaks down whether undetermined helps the family or just keeps the door open indefinitely — and what happens when a DA presents "we don't know how he died" to a Mississippi grand jury. What d4vd's Postmates Receipt Revealed About The Day After Celeste Died

The preliminary hearing in the d4vd murder case began with testimony that laid out a digital and financial trail prosecutors allege leads directly to David Anthony Burke. Detective Joshua Byers of LAPD Robbery-Homicide testified about purchases made under aliases, paid with Burke's own accounts, and delivered to his own home in the weeks and months following the alleged death of fourteen-year-old Celeste Rivas Hernandez. Burke has pleaded not guilty to all charges. The prosecution walked the court through each purchase in chronological order — from a shovel acquired the day after the alleged killing to a burn cage ordered three months later. Prosecutors also played body camera footage from a welfare check fourteen months before Celeste's death, during which Burke allegedly told deputies he barely knew the girl and that she claimed to be an adult. Financial manager Benjamin Greger testified that Burke earned between ten and eleven million dollars in gross income during the relevant period. He described a shift to encrypted messaging platforms within Burke's management team after the remains were discovered, and discussions about moving assets. Greger acknowledged he is still retained by Burke's family at $7,500 per month. Defense attorney Blair Berk cross-examined on evidence preservation, focusing on items that were not collected or further tested after initial screenings. The hearing continues with additional witnesses expected over multiple days. Could Anyone Have Stopped What Happened To Lindsay Clancy?

Psychotherapist Shavaun Scott and Tony Brueski sit down for the full conversation on the Lindsay Clancy murder trial — from the clinical reality of postpartum psychosis to the public debate that has turned this case into the most divisive trial in true crime. Lindsay Clancy is charged with first-degree murder in the deaths of her children Cora, Dawson, and Callan in Duxbury, Massachusetts, in January 2023. Her defense concedes she killed them and argues she was in the grip of postpartum psychosis. The prosecution argues deliberate planning. Shavaun starts with what the public gets wrong about the postpartum spectrum. Baby blues, depression, and psychosis are not the same condition at different intensities. Psychosis involves a rupture from reality that can present behind a mask of normal behavior. Lindsay's providers allegedly charted intrusive thoughts when she was describing something far more dangerous. A bipolar diagnosis came only after the killings. She then examines the prescribing chain — thirteen medications over four months, a husband who begged the doctors to stop, a suicide hotline that turned her away, and a system that allegedly never assembled the complete picture. The conversation closes on the public divide — why people cannot agree, why the judge blocked lay witnesses, what the Andrea Yates comparison reveals, and what justice looks like when the person who committed the act may not have been present in her own mind. Tony Brueski and psychotherapist Shavaun Scott, author of Night Bird, discuss the Lindsay Clancy case.
