Tom Borthwick is an educator, former Scranton School Board Member, and soon to be Ciderpreneur with the forthcoming opening of Electric City Ciderworks in Old Forge, Pa. We initially wanted to discuss the current state of education in the Scranton School District, but we found out after we booked him that a young man was murdered outside of Scranton High School. As a way to digest what is going on in our area we get the conversation had to discuss some hard truths and present realities.
