Descripción

Episode 28- This episode may feel a little different. After walking out of work and seeing the American flag beside a another flag, I found myself thinking about a question someone once asked me: “Why do we have so many flags now… when the American flag was supposed to represent everybody?” This is not a political episode. This is not an attack on anybody. This is a conversation about identity, belonging, division, humanity, and whether we’ve forgotten how to see each other beyond labels. Maybe the real issue isn’t the flags themselves. Maybe it’s that so many people no longer feel seen under one. Real life. No filters. No shortcuts. And that, my friends… is What the Huck.

Sometimes Lightbulbs Just Burn Out

Episode 30- When a lightbulb burns out, we don't question its worth. We don't blame it or try to force it to shine again. We simply recognize that it fulfilled its purpose. So why is it so much harder to do that in our own lives? In this episode of What the Huck, Huck explores the difference between something that's broken and something that's simply finished. Through a simple everyday moment, he reflects on leadership, change, gratitude, and the wisdom to know when it's time to repair, and when it's time to let go. Sometimes moving forward isn't about giving up. It's about honoring what was, thanking God for the season it served, and trusting Him with what's next. "Broken things deserve our effort. Finished things deserve our gratitude."
