2. How to Identify the Hidden Roots of Your Mindsets and Emotions

Have you ever asked yourself, “Why do I keep thinking this way?” or “Why can’t I break this pattern, no matter how hard I try?” If you’ve been feeling stuck, you’re not alone. In today’s episode, we’re digging into the real reasons your thoughts and patterns won’t change—and it’s not because you’re lazy, weak, or don’t love God enough. There are hidden roots beneath the surface of your emotions and mindsets. Once you learn how to identify them, everything starts to shift. In this episode, I’m sharing my personal struggles with recurring emotional patterns and mindsets—things like shame, anger, and numbness—that kept showing up in my life. I spent so much time trying to manage these emotions and fix my behavior, but I couldn’t understand why they kept resurfacing. What I didn’t realize is that these emotional patterns were being driven by hidden, unhealed roots—beliefs, wounds, and mindsets I had never addressed. We’ll talk about why recognizing these roots is essential to healing and how naming what’s underneath your emotions is the first step toward freedom.
