Thoughts? Questions? Feel free to get in touch - we'd love to hear from you :-) [https://www.buzzsprout.com/2442259/fan_mail/new] This episode looks at the principle of the "four seasons" as a way of understanding every aspect of your life... A series of repeating cycles we move through in every aspect of our existence. Spring is where ideas take shape and seeds get planted, summer is growth, autumn is where we either reap the rewards or face the consequences of earlier actions, and winter is the ending, the transitional phase before the cycle starts again. Whether it's a relationship, a business, or a personal chapter, recognising how these 'seasons' work can change how you respond to challenges and can help you view life, death and everything in-between in a more helpful way. Or not! Who knows - listen and find out if this could work for you! Emma and Andy try to keep their podcasts light-hearted and unedited, wherever possible, allowing for a more natural conversation style and an authentic representation of their characters. They aim to provide information and entertainment by mixing their knowledge, research and personal experiences with debate and (occasional) opposing view points.  :-) If you would like more information about Emma and Andy or Learn Live Give and what they are trying to achieve, please go to www.learnlivegive.co.uk for more information. Also, please feel free to get in touch with us if you have any questions or queries, thoughts or feedback on our podcasts. We'd love to hear from you.

077 Ojas (Ayervedic Vitality Immunity and Consciousness)

Thoughts? Questions? Feel free to get in touch - we'd love to hear from you :-) [https://www.buzzsprout.com/2442259/fan_mail/new] In this episode, we explore Ojas — the subtle essence of vitality in Ayurvedic practices, said to govern immunity, resilience, and clarity of mind. We look at what Ojas actually is, how it's said to be cultivated or depleted, and why it's considered the foundation of both physical health and a settled state of consciousness. Emma and Andy try to keep their podcasts light-hearted and unedited, wherever possible, allowing for a more natural conversation style and an authentic representation of their characters. 076 Intro to the Ayurvedic Doshas

Thoughts? Questions? Feel free to get in touch - we'd love to hear from you :-) [https://www.buzzsprout.com/2442259/fan_mail/new] In this episode we take our first steps into the world of Ayurveda, one of the oldest systems of health and wellbeing on the planet... We discuss what are called the three doshas: kapha, pitta, and vata, which according to Ayurveda philosophy are the elemental constitutions that shape everything from how you digest your food, to how you handle stress, to your likely body shape. This is an overview - just enough to get you curious, and maybe to start recognising yourself in the mix. More detail will follow in subsequent podcasts where we will delve deeper into each of the doshas in more detail. 075 Sleep Story - The Long Way Home

Thoughts? Questions? Feel free to get in touch - we'd love to hear from you :-) [https://www.buzzsprout.com/2442259/fan_mail/new] So this is a complete departure from our normal format... In this episode, Emma takes us on a gentle walking journey with a woman navigating the quiet chaos of a busy life — and what she discovers along the way about letting go, slowing down, and finding stillness in the most unexpected places. Written and told as a bedtime story for adults, this one is less about ancient philosophy and more about the kind of wisdom that creeps up on you when you put one foot in front of the other. Whether you listen to wind down, drift off, or simply to breathe for a while — we hope it gives you exactly what you need. 074 The Vayus (An introduction)

Thoughts? Questions? Feel free to get in touch - we'd love to hear from you :-) [https://www.buzzsprout.com/2442259/fan_mail/new] In this episode we discuss the five vayus, the directions of energy (or ‘winds’) that yogic philosophy says influence everything from your digestion to your sense of direction in life. We take a brief look at all five — prana, apana, samana, udana, and vyana — what each one governs, where it lives in the body, and why understanding them changes the way you think about your energy. But this is the overview episode — a tasting menu to whet your appetite - we’ll be coming back to each vayu individually for a proper deep dive in later podcasts.
