At His Feet

Martha and Mary are two well known followers of Jesus, and good friends of His as well. Yet, in His presence they took entirely different approaches...Martha, with her spirit of hospitality busied herself making sure her guests were well taken care of. Her sister Mary chose to sit at the feet of Jesus.... I'm using this lesson to kick off a series on building our relationship with Jesus. Sometimes we fall into the "motion of life" and rather than just sitting at His feet, we spend our time so focused on other areas of ministry we aren't benefitting from a relationship with Jesus that will sustain us through anything and everything!

The truth is, Jesus is always speaking to us, inviting us into a deeper, more intimate relationship with Him. How do we hear His voice? The answer lies in His Word—the Bible. The Bible is more than just a book; it's a living, breathing testament of God's love, wisdom, and guidance for us. Through its pages, Jesus speaks directly to our hearts, offering comfort, direction, and a deeper understanding of His will for our lives. But how do we tune in to hear His voice amidst the busyness of life?
