A Place to Call Home is a podcast that explores the stories of Gainesville Health & Fitness employees and Gainesville locals who have chosen to make Gainesville their home. Each episode features a new guest who shares their personal connection to Gainesville, from what drew them to the area to what makes it truly feel like home.  In addition to hearing from Gainesville residents, we will also be talking to experts on topics such as local history, major events, and community building. We want to provide our listeners with a comprehensive look at what makes life in “The Swamp” special and why Gainesville is much more than just a college town.  Inspired by the titular GHF short documentary that told the story of what inspired Gainesville Health & Fitness owner, Joe Ciruli, to take root in Gainesville, A Place to Call Home seeks to strengthen the communal bond of Gainesville beyond the walls of Gainesville Health & Fitness through the power of storytelling.
