Jessward Docena (they/them) is a queer Filipinx astrologer, community organizer, and international human rights defender based in the Bay Area. With over 15 years of experience building power alongside working-class BIPOC, WOC, LGBTQIA+, immigrant, and refugee communities, their approach to astrology is grounded in intersectionality and healing justice, weaving Hellenistic, Islamicate, Renaissance, and modern techniques with political analysis to help clients understand their charts within larger systems of power. They are passionate about demystifying astrology and making it accessible to marginalized communities, from beginners to professional astrologers, and through consultations, workshops, and teaching, invite people into deeper relationship with themselves and their role in collective transformation.
