Tino is from Garwood, New Jersey, a small town where he started a landscaping business in high school that he ran through college. Multisport Athlete: In high school, he was an all-county basketball player and played soccer for both his school and Cedar Stars Academy. In College: He played D-III soccer at Drew University, where he notably jumped from four goals his sophomore year to 14 his junior year -- Joining the Cosmos: After graduating and working a corporate job, he attended trials and was personally called by Giuseppe Rossi, who told Tino he believed in his talent. His Life at the New York Cosmo has been quite exciting! His coach, Davide Corti, describes him as a "joker" who can play multiple positions and is willing to "run through a wall" for the team. The Atmosphere: Tino is known for keeping the locker room loose and using humor to help teammates when they are down. On Hinchcliffe Stadium: He finds playing at Hinchcliffe Stadium welcoming rather than intimidating, especially with local family and friends frequently in the stands.
