I just want to say before we start how much I admire Julie’s willingness to be so open about something so painful. Grief is such a personal thing, and yet she has been willing to let others into that journey. Through her story, you really see who God has been to her in those darkest moments, and also how the people around her helped walk alongside her through that pain. One thing that stood out to me so much in talking with Julie is just her huge mom heart. Her love for Meagan is so evident. It’s been many years since Meagan went to heaven, but you can tell it still feels so fresh to Julie. That kind of loss is not something you ever truly get over, it just still really hurts.
