Israel and the Church - When The Church Picks Sides

Questions? Comments? Text us! [https://www.buzzsprout.com/2396785/fan_mail/new] A war can expose what we really believe, and right now it is drawing a sharp line through the church. Some Christians feel morally and spiritually compelled to support modern Israel at all costs. Others look at the mounting civilian deaths, the destruction of Christian communities, and Jesus’ commands to love enemies and forgive, and they cannot reconcile that with cheering a war. We start a new series called Israel and the Church to sort through the arguments with open Bibles and clear eyes, not political slogans. We walk through why evangelical support for Israel is often described as a spiritual obligation. That includes the Abrahamic covenant in Genesis 12, the language of “blessing” and “cursing,” and how those ideas shape voting, giving, and public advocacy. We also define Christian Zionism and explain how dispensationalism separates God’s plan for ethnic Israel from God’s plan for the Church, often tying modern events to end times prophecy in Revelation, Armageddon expectations, Jerusalem, and even a future Third Temple. We also name the non-theological drivers, like seeing Israel as a key US ally in the Middle East. Then we slow down and ask the questions many believers are now raising: Who is the promise for, and does ethnic descent guarantee covenant blessings? Does loving Jewish people require endorsing any nation-state’s tactics? Does the Bible actually command unconditional political, financial, and military support? Finally, we turn to the Pauline lens, reading Romans 3 and the claim that there is no difference between Jew and Gentile when it comes to sin, grace, and salvation through Jesus Christ, and we close with an invitation to pray. Subscribe for the rest of the series, share this with someone who is wrestling with these questions, and leave a review with your take: what should guide a Christian conscience when theology, war, and compassion collide?

The "How" of Divine Healing - Part 3

Questions? Comments? Text us! [https://www.buzzsprout.com/2396785/fan_mail/new] Praise can feel like the last thing we have energy for when the body hurts and the mind is spiraling, but we’ve learned it can also be one of the strongest biblical strategies for divine healing. We wrap up our How of Divine Healing series by focusing on three clear avenues: healing through praise and worship, healing through the power of agreement in prayer, and healing that comes from believing and acting on God’s Word. If you’re searching for Christian healing teaching that’s practical, scripture-rooted, and honest about the fight, this conversation is for you. We dig into what worship actually does when you “fix your eyes” on what’s unseen, and we share a powerful historical story from Dr. Lillian B. Yeomans, the Canadian physician who called it the “praise cure.” Her example, along with the testimony of a missionary who chose singing and praise in the middle of a terrifying diagnosis, highlights a counterintuitive truth: praise isn’t pretending the problem isn’t real, it’s refusing to let the problem be central. We also talk through what persistence looks like, including a real-life practice we use, an improvised Jericho march with Psalms read out loud when symptoms are shouting for us to quit. From there, we shift to the prayer of agreement (Matthew 18:19–20), why unity matters in the body of Christ, and why the power is in the name of Jesus, not simply in human effort. We close with the discipline of treating Scripture like medicine: reading, meditating, speaking God’s promises, and becoming doers of the Word, including the challenging but freeing instructions of Isaiah 58. We also end with an invitation to pray and respond. Subscribe for more biblical grief support and healing encouragement, share this with someone who needs hope, and leave a review so more listeners can find the show.

The "How" of Divine Healing - Part 2

Questions? Comments? Text us! [https://www.buzzsprout.com/2396785/fan_mail/new] Crowds pressed in on Jesus, but only one touch stopped Him in His tracks. That detail forces a hard question: what does faith actually look like when you need healing, and how do you move from hoping God might act to reaching for Him with confidence? We take Jesus’ own ministry as our starting point and follow the pattern Scripture lays out: faith rises through hearing the Word of God, watching God’s promises confirmed, and responding with action that matches belief.  We walk through three unforgettable Gospel snapshots. First, the woman who suffered for twelve years touches the edge of Jesus’ cloak and is instantly healed, then is brought into the open so shame and stigma lose their grip. Next, the centurion shocks everyone by refusing to claim merit and instead appealing to authority: “Say the word, and my servant will be healed.” That moment reframes how we pray, how we talk, and why aligning our speech with God’s Word matters when circumstances feel loud. Then we learn from blind Bartimaeus, who refuses to be silenced, cries out for mercy, and receives sight because persistent faith keeps asking.  We also address a topic many people avoid: spiritual warfare. The Gospels show that some healings come through deliverance, and we talk about how to think clearly about that without falling into extremes. We close with the most important step of all, an invitation to receive the free gift of salvation through Jesus. If this encouraged you, subscribe, share it with someone who needs hope, and leave a review so more listeners can find biblical help for healing and restoration.

The "How" of Divine Healing - Part 1

Questions? Comments? Text us! [https://www.buzzsprout.com/2396785/fan_mail/new] When your body breaks down, it can feel like the ground shifts under your feet. We start with the hard question many people are afraid to ask out loud: what do you do when you have tried to get well and it is not working, or when medical science has no clear answers? We believe God is mindful of our need to be well, and that Scripture lays out real pathways to divine health and healing that touch the physical, emotional, and spiritual parts of life. We define divine healing as a supernatural act of God that restores and makes whole through Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit. Then we go straight to the “how”: praying in faith for God to reveal your personal path to healing, expecting wisdom, and refusing the double-minded uncertainty James 1 warns about. We also talk about settling the issue of God’s will to heal, standing on Isaiah 53:5 and 1 Peter 2:24, and doing the practical work of researching what God’s Word says about your specific situation so you can obey it with consistency. From there, we walk through several biblical methods for receiving healing: calling for the elders to pray and anoint with oil from James 5, dealing with guilt and confession without assuming every illness is personal failure, and staying alert to the enemy’s devices. We also explore why healing services can be powerful through worship and God’s manifested presence, and why communion is more than a ritual when we discern the body of Christ and receive with reverence and faith. We close with an invitation to put spiritual healing first by making Jesus Christ Lord of your life. Subscribe, share this with someone who needs hope, and leave a review so more listeners can find biblical teaching on divine healing and Christian health. What part of the “how” do you want to grow in next?

Is Harry Harmless?

Questions? Comments? Text us! [https://www.buzzsprout.com/2396785/fan_mail/new] We weigh a Christian connection to the Harry Potter series against Scripture and ask whether “harmless fun” can still shape our spiritual alignment. We also talk about how entertainment can normalize darkness, then we point to freedom and deliverance through Jesus Christ.  • grounding the conversation in God’s Word as the believer’s starting point  • biblical warnings about wizards, familiar spirits, sorcery, and defilement  • asking whether spells, charms, potions, and divination count as witchcraft  • challenging the claim that the series teaches good moral lessons  • describing how fantasy can desensitize people to occult themes  • sharing a real-world look at Harry Potter immersion and role-play culture  • discussing idolatry, obedience, and the cost of compromised fellowship  • practical discernment about what we read and watch  • offering a prayer to invite Jesus in and receive true freedom  If you prayed that prayer, write to us, lynnelittleministries@gmail.com.
