He transitioned on the date of this episode being published-12.28.2020.  This after show is me reflecting on my 2022. It has been summed up in a spoken word/poem written by the anointed, gifted, & talented A'kasha Jenkins.  A'kasha was a guest along with her husband Anthony on the "Saved Married Millennials" episode. She summed up my year so eloquently and she captured it perfectly. I'm grateful to her for allowing the Lord to use her for me in this way. I pray I did it justice in reading it My prayer is God will continue to show you that you are not alone in what you may have endured or encountered in 2022. The After Show: My Journey to Thanksgiving

I had recorded the after show and was in the midst of editing, however, I really was not feeling it.  So, I have a meeting with a friend about something totally different and once we finished, we began talking about the goodness of God and being grateful and thankful. At that point, I was like let's talk about it on my podcast.  My special guest is Tashika Pope. She is sharing a bit about the goodness of God and how thankful and grateful she is.  Let's remember although there is a date on the calendar every year to celebrate Thanksgiving, we should be living a daily lifestyle of Thanksgiving for everything God has done, doing, and will do. My Journey to Thanksgiving

Send us a text [https://www.buzzsprout.com/twilio/text_messages/1897810/open_sms] The special guest on this month's episodes is ME😊 yours truly-the host.  The month of November is synonymous with the Thanksgiving holiday.  Thanksgiving is defined by Merriam-Webster dictionary as the act of giving thanks; a prayer expressing gratitude; and a public acknowledgement or celebration of divine goodness.  This is my public acknowledgement of giving thanks to God.  Even when I felt as though life was not so great, the Bible states in 1 Thessalonians 5:18 KJV "In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you." I was not always in the mind space to give thanks but when I truly look back on my life, I can see how God has always been there for me.  Romans 8:28 KJV states "And we know that all things work together for good to them that LOVE God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.  Let's make everyday  a day of Thanksgiving!!
