On today’s episode, Carrie Ellen is joined by Jim Farmer.  Jim Farmer is the Vice President of Training, Programs, and HR for For The Children, a nonprofit dedicated to serving children who have experienced abuse, neglect, and abandonment through mentoring and camp programs across the United States and internationally.  Jim has spent his career helping organizations develop people and culture through training, leadership development, and volunteer engagement. Prior to joining For The Children, he held learning and development leadership roles with organizations including The Walt Disney Company, SCAN Health Plan, and MUFG Americas, where he focused on building strong teams and service-driven cultures.  In addition to his nonprofit leadership, Jim leads JFarmer Consulting, where he works with organizations to develop leaders, strengthen workplace culture, and design engaging training experiences.  Jim is passionate about equipping volunteers and leaders to create life-changing moments for others. On today’s episode, Carrie Ellen is joined by author and bible study leader, Barb Egbert.  Barbara Quillen Egbert writes and guides women’s groups from a foundational perspective of a personal relationship with Jesus. Her previous book Portrait of a Woman and Jesus was based on the same dream when Jesus asked, “Will you dance with Me?” Ballroom dance has become a vehicle for her personal and spiritual growth.
