Next Episode We have our first DCEU project of 2026 "Supergirl" directed by Craig Gillespie and starring Milly Alcock as the titular "Supergirl" and Eve Ridley as "Ruthie" A young girl who recruits Supergirl on her journey to avenge her father's death at the hands of our lead baddie, Krem of theYellow Hills played by Matthias Schoenaerts. With smaller roles for Jason Mamoa as "Lobo" & David Corenswet as "Superman". Its plot pulled almost entirely from Supergirl's most well known & praised storyline, Tom King's "Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow". Word-of-mouth hasn't been strong citing it as "Bland & Lifeless" some even stating James Gunn's DCEU "May be in trouble" but is it truly that bad?
