20s Confidential
After a few weeks off the podcast, I’m back with a little bit of a reality check… mostly for myself. Lately I realized that in trying way too hard to protect my peace, I actually started killing it. My life had slowly turned into a never-ending to-do list...routines, productivity, trying to do everything “right,” and putting pressure on myself to have all the answers. But the truth is, I don’t. And that realization forced me to rethink what peace actually means. In this episode, I talk about how “protecting your peace” can sometimes turn into avoiding discomfort, staying in your comfort zone, and trying to control everything around you. But real peace doesn’t come from everything going according to plan... it comes from resilience, emotional regulation, and trusting yourself to handle whatever life throws at you. I also share what snapped me out of the rut I was in: a spontaneous trip to New York, getting stuck there for three extra days, and a reminder that sometimes the most healing thing you can do is just have fun and let life surprise you a little. If you’ve been feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or like life has turned into one big checklist, this episode is your reminder that: Peace isn’t about eliminating chaos. It’s about learning how to handle it. In this episode we talk about: why “protecting your peace” can become a trap perfectionism and imposter syndrome in your 20s the difference between intuition and avoidance why doing hard things builds resilience getting out of your comfort zone and trying new experiences why a little spontaneity might actually be the missing piece.
