Descripción

Alma Ehrlich is the head of the Avoda student group at The Hebrew University of Jerusalem. As a 22 years old activist, this will be her fifth election voting. Almah shares with us what keeps her in Israel when her friends are moving to Berlin. She analyzes how the lack of economic security changed Israeli society at its core, and she tells why she believe that even though Avoda currently has only 7 seats in the Knesset, it can still find its way to lead the Israeli government once more. A few other parties + How to go and vote

In this episode, we will tell you a little about all the parties we were not able to interview for different reasons. This is also the episode Where we take the gloves off and express our honest opinions about some of these parties. We talk about Itamar Ben Gvir and Betzalel Smotrich and why they were mentioned in so many episodes. We will tell you about the Haredi parties and the different Arabic parties, about Yesh Atid, and we will also explain how to find where to vote and what you need to bring with you. Yalla, make a decision and go fill your civic duty. "The divisions within Israeli society are actually more dangerous than Iran": Teddy Fischer

Hamachane Hamamlachti, headed by Benny Guntz and Gidon Saar, is promoting itself as the only party that can bridge between the pro Bibi and the anti Bibi camps. In this episode, we interview Teddy Fischer, a US-born engineer and an activist for the party. Teddy shares with us what made him shift from Yesh Atid to this party, what does he learn from these five rounds of elections, how it happened that the Israeli voters are getting closer to the right, and why he sees the event which brought Guntz the most criticism from his voters, as one in which he did us a favor and ‘took one for the team.’ Our social media accounts: Instagram @vanupikholc and @nycrml; Twitter @vannagp and @NoyCarmel Our email: 6060podcast@gmail.com [6060podcast@gmail.com] 60-60 is produced and edited by Vanina Pikholc and Noy Carmel.

"The home of the Jewish people often becomes the hardest place for people to be Jewish": Stephen Rubin

Stephen Rubin made aliyah from the US and joined Avoda as an activist. Then, he discovered that the party that represents him the best as an Israeli is Avigdor Liberman’s party, Israel Beytenu. In this episode, he shares why the Israeli public doesn’t know what the right stands for, how Israel Beytenu offers to improve the life of ultra-orthodox people more than any Haredi party, and which discussions our country needs to have instead of these ongoing elections. "Peace is a basic human right": Shanna Orlik

On our third episode, we talk with Shanna, a Meretz activist, and an Olah from France. Shanna has been an activist since childhood. She shares with us how making Aliyah changed her perception of Israel and the conflict, what Israel can learn from the evolution of the French electoral system, and why, even though many Israeli citizens vote for parties from the other edge of the political spectrum, if they have only read what Meretz actually promotes for Israeli society, she believes all of them would vote Meretz.
