7News Just In
Melbourne-born music legend Daryl Braithwaite has announced his retirement from live performances after a six-decade career spanning from his time as Sherbet frontman in the early 1970s to his hugely successful solo career. The singer revealed that physical challenges have made it increasingly difficult for him to sing comfortably, taking the joy out of performing. His iconic hit 'Horses' has become a multi-generational anthem, particularly celebrated at the Cox Plate race day at Moonee Valley.
