7News Just In
A woman in her 60s survived an encounter with a two-metre eastern brown snake in the Tweed Valley, northern New South Wales, after riding over it with her bicycle. The snake became tangled in her bike chain and bit her thigh, but she received only a dry bite with no venom entering her bloodstream. Eastern brown snakes are considered the world's second most venomous snake species. See omnystudio.com/listener [https://omnystudio.com/listener] for privacy information.
