Locus of Control and Stick Theory - with Jen Child | A Good Day to Die EP 22

Jen is the married mother of three boys and a traumatic event survivor.  In this episode Jen shares how a traumatic life event provoked a change in perspective and a shift in her locus of control.  Jen uses a technology called "Stick Theory"  to evaluate her approach to life, finding balance and simplicity. Jen says she likes to "stay curious, not furious".   Locus of control refers to the degree to which an individual feels a sense of agency in regard to his or her life. Someone with an internal locus of control will believe that the things that happen to them are greatly influenced by their own abilities, actions, or mistakes.
