In this episode, Adrienne Skye Roberts talks with Joanne Scheer, founder of the Felony Murder Elimination Project and mother of Tony, currently serving his 11th year of Life Without Parole. Joanne tells us about the history of the Felony Murder Rule and its impact on people serving Life Without Parole. We also discuss legislation that was just signed that begins to chip away at the Felony Murder Rule and Joanne shares her experience of being the mother of a young man with LWOP. Episode 3 features stories from our incarcerated members including Boualy, Ceona, Cat, Amy, Toya, Lynn, Kelly, and others who choose to remain anonymous.
