National Association of Counties Award Winners

Vermillion County recieved two awards. The National Association of Counties, usually called NACo, is a national organization that represents county governments in the United States. It gives counties a voice in federal policymaking, helps county leaders share ideas and best practices, provides research and education, and supports county officials and staff across the country. NACo works with America’s counties, parishes, and boroughs on issues like public safety, health, infrastructure, economic development, emergency management, and government funding. In simple terms: NACo is like the national advocate and resource hub for county governments. It helps counties work together and speak with one voice in Washington, D.C.

Local Counseling & Mental Health Resources * Point Beyond Mental Health Collective — Offers mental health counseling and therapy services in nearby Terre Haute. * Be Well & Bloom — Individual and relationship counseling services with a licensed mental health professional. * Murphy Urban Associates Psychological Services — Psychological counseling services in Terre Haute. * Coffee Clutch Counseling Services, LLC — Counseling services for individuals, couples, and families. * Valley Professionals Community Health Center — Located in Clinton and offers healthcare services that can help connect individuals to behavioral health resources. Veterans For veterans in Vermillion County, organizations such as American Legion Post 184 can provide camaraderie and connections to veteran-specific mental health resources.
