Agree To Understand with Chris Richardson
Host Chris Richardson is joined by Saniya Pearson, author of "I Am Not Your Literature" and Youth Poet Laureate, for a captivating conversation about patience and your calling! Saniya reveals how her patience has fueled her rise— from performing at the Kennedy Center and competing nationally with the DMV Slam Team, to publishing her debut book "I Am Not Your Literature" and dreaming of a career fighting for social justice. You'll discover her unique framework for navigating not-yet moments, recognizing that success isn’t a straight line but a dance of persistence, faith, and purpose. Topics include overcoming rejection, using social media as motivation, the importance of community, and how to avoid falling into the trap of comparisons and impatience.
