Descripción

Max Wolff is a Political Science student and seasoned traveler from Ohio University.  In a podcast that is blasphemously short, he shares some stories from his travels in Europe and Southeast Asia, including a near-death experience in Thailand.  He gives us his thoughts on the immigration crisis in Europe (based on a project he did with an international student think tank) and the European Union.  We talk about War vs. Innovation, Nukes, Angkor Wat, and the future of drones and food delivery.  Max is an infinitely interesting guy, and I severely regret not having time to talk more with him about his many adventures.  One of the most interesting and enlightening podcasts of the brood--definitely check it out!

episode D. Deborah Woolsey artwork

D. Deborah Woolsey

Deborah Woolsey is a priest for the Church of the Good Shepherd, an Episcopalian church located at the top of Morton Hill in Athens, Ohio. Woolsey talks about her journey to the cloth from working at a small book store in Wisconsin. She gives a good overview of the Episcopalian church in general, then zooms into her experience with running a church in Athens, touching on the free lunches they provide to the public every Wednesday and the café that she hopes to include in the basement of the church in the future. We get into philosophy, the purpose of intention, the existence of the soul, and the importance of sharing love and friendly competition. Don't miss this opportunity to learn some theology from one of the coolest reverends around A-Town!
