She is currently the vice president of Student Life at the OTSU and has worked hard to create diverse and inclusive initiatives like the infamous cultural show, Pangaea. In her spare time, she is a singer and lives a life showcasing her Tamal culture. She walks us through her involvement as a student leader, an event organizer, a part-time staff, and a Kinesiology student; all to develop a better community.

They commemorate memories of their time volunteering, the joys and pains of involvement, and the reason behind why they do what they do. Sylvia just graduated with an undergrad in Life Sciences and hopes to pursue the medical route as a pediatric doctor. Her contributions span from founding the Sick Kids Club, being the president of the Students Recognizing Residents Club, active content creator within the Digital Community, and Peer leader and ambassador. She focuses on having empathy for those around us to create a welcoming community and deeply caring for the people around us in whatever big or small way.

She walks us through her involvement as a student leader, the Big 4 career, working part-time, majoring in Accounting, maintaining a close friend circle, and prioritizing mental health.

The organization had to pivot its programs to a hybrid model during the pandemic and they are seeing great success by engaging the community in creative ways. They mainly focus on people with disabilities and how they can create a space for all members of society to thrive. Through this 30min session, she walks the listeners into a journey of resilience and takes time to think out of the box to foster an inclusive community.

He walks us through his involvement as a senior peer leader, to an organizer of Coffeehouse, and other ventures he takes on to develop a better community.
