Welcome to our inadvertent inaugural episode! Our public health podcast is all about combatting misinformation, making jokes, and creating a mildly chaotic safe space, so there seemed like no better time (or disease) to start than the recent outbreak of Hantavirus. Join us as we talk all things rodents, our favorite cruise ship hacks, and Gene Hackman. We hope by the end we will have alleviated some concerns, and spread some truth! Please note: This podcast was recorded on May 5th, as the situation was evolving. It has since been confirmed as the Andes strain of Hantavirus, which is known to occasionally transmit from person to person.
