Ann Pale Klè: Dèyè Sistèm Yo
In this episode, I discuss the dynamics of how majorityethnicity plays out against or support of minority in a country. The difference between helping the majority and helping everyone equally. When times are good and resources are plenty, societies are more likely to treat everyone fairly. But when money or supplies are limited, the majority group often focus on protecting their own group and may unfairly blame the minorities (immigrants, different ethnicities, different faiths, etc.). In developing countries, this can lead to strong groups gaining power while weaker groups struggle despite if resources improve. I talked about how fixing these problems requires improving safety, breaking unfair control, and giving people the stability they need to take part in society and make better long-term decisions.
