ARMY: On The Street
Welcome to the podcast! This episode is truly the culmination of many months of work, all leading up to an incredibly exciting season: the comeback of BTS and our upcoming concert adventures in both Las Vegas and Baltimore. This is a space for all fandoms, a place for real fans, real stories, and real connections. Most of all, it is a safe space where we can show up as ourselves, get real, and share the moments that fandom has carried us through. In this episode, we’ll cover a little EDC and K-pop news, then dive into my current favorite K-drama, We Are All Trying Here. It is a beautiful piece of art filled with difficult-to-conquer issues, quirky and unforgettable characters, and, for me, it has that emotional heartbeat that feels reminiscent of It’s Okay to Not Be Okay. From there, we shift into something deeply meaningful: a touching letter from a listener who was brave enough to share her transgender story with us, and how BTS and ARMY helped her through some of her darkest times. We’ll also ease into some opening K-culture and Korean language moments before we roll up the sidewalks with a few thoughts on concert etiquette. After we return from Vegas, we’ll be putting the finishing touches on our studio and music production so we can bring you an even bigger, better, and more polished version of the podcast, with so much more growth still to come. So stay tuned, walk this road with us, and thank you for being part of the beginning.
