Descripción

In this episode, we discussed Aaron’s injury odyssey, the landscape of his headspace across the adversity, and the advice he would give other athletes dealing with injuries or other setbacks. A victim and ultimately a victor over a nearly unprecedented trio of ACL tears, Aaron shared what ultimately pulled him back to the court, as well as his learned perspective on the true value of sports to life in the process.  Aaron then peeled back the curtain on life at Army West Point, breaking down the academy’s values of servitude, commitment, and leadership, while also speaking to the strength of human bonds and the American ideals that glued the Army together during the intense pandemic tensions and social unrest. Lastly, we finished up with some fun rapid fire in which Aaron bets on his jumper to spare him from prison time and score him a million dollars.
